This film was very cheaply made for the Sundance Film Fesitval, it was probably inspired by the Blair Witch Project. It's about four people that are trying to wip up a film for a similar film festival and the wackiness that ensues with the ideas they come up with and the consequences of those ideas.
It's not about much and for anyone who hasn't seen many Sundance Film Festival movies, this one is probably not for you!

State Of Play
Good movie! It's about a reporter who tries to solve the mysterious death of a congressman's mistress. The congressman and the reporter are friends with a rocky history that complicates things during the investigation. Unexpected twists and a surprise ending sum the movie up nicely.
You'll like it.

18 Kids And Counting
Have you seen this show? This family is seriously crazy! They don't let their children watch TV, the mother home schools ALL 18 kids, all their names start with the letter 'J', the father's name is Jim Bob, the girls will cover the younger boys eyes if they see an immodestly dressed girl walking down the street, they don't let their children date until they are engaged and even then they have to be chaperoned, and they can't kiss until their married!
Looks like their oldest son and his wife have been doing a lot more than just kissing now that their married!
Yep, they are now getting a grandchild!

Seven Pounds
Yes, it's a sad movie but it is so good! You have to see it. I love how you don't quite get what's going on until the very end of the show. Those are my favorite endings.

Slumdog Millionaire
I loved this movie! It's about an illiterate slum kid from Mumbai who becomes a contestant on the local version of Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and just blows people away with what he knows.
The movie flashes back to this guys childhood and shows how he new some of the answers to the show's questions and also how he got on the show in the first place. It's a sweet movie with humor, heartbreak. Alex and I both loved it.

Thelma and Louise
This is actually the first time I've seen this movie. Everyone references this show so I thought it's about time I watched it. It was really good, I can see how it had a lasting affect on people and how women can really relate to it.
It's funny, it's dramatic and the acting is fantastic!
I loved the ending too, I was just kind of like...did that just happen?

Sideways
Love this movie. I've seen it before but after seeing bottle shock I wanted to watch Sideways again. It's about a depressed wine connoisseur, Miles, who takes a bachelor trip with his friend, Jack, to the wine country before Jack gets married.
The show has a lot of talk about wine and this wine slob hates Merlot. The movie Merlove was made after Sideways to kind of stand up for Merlot.
Favorite line of this movie (censored):
Jack: "If they want to drink Merlot, we're drinking Merlot."
Miles: "No, if anyone orders Merlot, I'm leaving. I am NOT drinking any Effing Merlot!

Bottle Shock
This movie is based on a true story in 1976 about the winery Chateau Montelena that was started by Jim Barrett. His son Bo is a hippie who works for him at the winery which is struggling financially and causes a lot of contention between father and son.
The plot includes how a wine connoisseur from France comes to California to find the best wines to take back with him to compete in a blind wine tasting against Paris wines. If you like wine and are interested in all the complexities of how it is made, then you will enjoy this show.
For those who are not into wine, the show still has a good plot with a love story for the girls and some fighting for the guys. Me? I liked it and found it interesting about how this winery functions.

Center Stage - Turn It Up
Wasn't as good as the first one. This one did not have as much ballet dancing, it was more of a hip hop movie. Don't get me wrong, I love hip hop dancing too, but I wanted more ballet! The main chick was a good hip hop dancer but she sucked at ballet, which bugged me!
Her feet just dangled from her legs instead of being pointed and beveled. Eeww, I couldn't stand to watch her do ballet. But the other dancers were amazing! And like every dance movie, the plot was just so-so which is what I was expecting and I'm okay with because I just watch it for the dancing!
Oh and the finale in the first Center Stage was just amazing! And this one? Not so much.

Rachel Getting Married
Ok, Anne Hathaway is not Rachel. Anne Hathaway is not the one getting married.
I was confused for the first 15 minutes because I thought she was Rachel.
Ok, this movie is not for everyone but I liked it. It's a real movie where you have to think and dig deep to really understand and appreciate it.
My husband hated it. So it may not be for guys. The movie portrays Anne Hathaway in a very different role than her usual hollywood sugar gumdrop roles. I loved her in this! It was depressing at times but the ending was great and tied everything up with a nice happy bow.
