The Walking Dead Season 1

5/3/11

Black Swan

I already knew I was going to love this movie before I watched it. Any movie about Ballet I love!

I have to say though that this one was awesome! It wasn't cheesy like most dance films and Natalie Portman was amazing!

Mila Kunis, on the other hand, was not so great. Her acting was good, but when she danced you could really tell she was not a ballerina.

Which is my biggest pet peeve, when actresses pretend to be ballerinas and fail miserably. Natalie was able to pull it off beautifully!

Devil

Ok I'll admit, I don't remember a lot of the movie because I was either 1) Not paying attention, 2) Falling asleep, or 3) Falling asleep.

So was it good? I'm not sure...but I don't think so.

The Crazies

This will definitely get your pulse going! It's about a small town where people start getting "sick" and basically go crazy and start killing everyone.

Fascinating right?

It's actually not bad for a horror/scary movie. Seriously, if you like scary movies, check this one out!

4/15/10

The Fourth Kind

Do you believe in Aliens? You might after watching this movie! It has some pretty creepy shiz. It's based on a real story and shows actual footage of the real incidents! I loved it.

CA-RAZY.

Shutter Island

I'm not quite sure what to say about this movie other than it was not what I expected. I was expecting a scary movie but it didn't turn out that way. I think I liked it? There is a great twist which is always a good thing.

Yes, yes I think I liked it.

There ya go. Just go see it. (Prepare yourself for some corny dream sequences.)

Deadline

I rented this movie right after Brittany Murphy died so it was a little weird to watch. Kind of like watching Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight.

So sad.

Murphy's character is a writer and has a deadline that she needs to meet so she decides to isolate herself in a huge house in the woods. (Hello? Typical scary movie). She is also hiding from her ex boyfriend who just got out of jail for doing something that you will find out in the movie.

While working alone, she starts wondering the house and happens upon a box of home video tapes of the couple that lived in the house a few years back. As she becomes obsessed with these videos and staying alone in the house, she starts to see and hear things that aren't really there.

And you'll have to watch it to figure out what is reality and what isn't! LOL

Paranormal Activity

I finally watched it! I've been wanting to watch this movie ever since it was in theatres but nobody would go with me. Well, I guess by nobody I mean Albert. He hates scary movies. So I waited and waited until it came out on DVD.

So one night when I couldn't sleep, I got up and watched it at 3 in the morning. It freaked me out! I loved it!

You have to watch it in the dark!

Orphan

Spooky! Tori Spelling says so!

S. Darko: A Donnie Darko Tale

I don't even remember if I like Donnie Darko but I thought I'd try his little Sara out for a try. Meh. Maybe I just wasn't paying too much attention because I thought it was kinda boring. And just wierd.

Zombieland

Oh man, this is a horror comedy about two guys trying to survive the world that is now prevalent with zombies. Woody Harrelson is hilarious in this! I really enjoyed the show, it was so freakin funny! Yes, it was very gory, a little too gory for my taste but I got over it. It's suspenseful and surprising and gross and scary and fun and silly, I love it!

Go see it with a date, do not take your children! obviously.

(Oh and there is a surprise guest that totally makes the show!)

Bag Head

This film was very cheaply made for the Sundance Film Fesitval, it was probably inspired by the Blair Witch Project. It's about four people that are trying to wip up a film for a similar film festival and the wackiness that ensues with the ideas they come up with and the consequences of those ideas.

It's not about much and for anyone who hasn't seen many Sundance Film Festival movies, this one is probably not for you!

The Haunting of Molly Hartley

Ya know...I love scary movies but why can't they make ones that aren't so cheesy? They all start out with so much potential and then they just get corny! This one is a perfect example of that.

The Hubby Play Gears of War

Too many scary monsters for me! Yuck!

11/14/08

The Strangers

My Hubster hated this movie, but he hates all scary movies. I thought this movie was freaky! It totally had me at the edge of my seat and in my hubster's lap after jumping in horrific surprise.

But that's just me.
