I already knew I was going to love this movie before I watched it. Any movie about Ballet I love!


I have to say though that this one was awesome! It wasn't cheesy like most dance films and Natalie Portman was amazing!





Mila Kunis, on the other hand, was not so great. Her acting was good, but when she danced you could really tell she was not a ballerina.




Which is my biggest pet peeve, when actresses pretend to be ballerinas and fail miserably. Natalie was able to pull it off beautifully!

Come on, did we really need another Katherine Heigl movie?

Eclipse

Dude. I finally saw Eclipse and managed to get through it without throwing myself at Jacob every time he appeared on screen.


Thanks DeAnna for going with me even though you've already seen it. Of course I don't think you minded too much. And tell your husband to stop being jealous of "dracula and scary doggies". Oh, and tell him they are vampires and wolves. Idiot.

Such a cute movie! I saw it with my Dad, Lindee, and Logan. We went to the 3D version, you should have seen how cute Logan looked in those glasses!!

America's Next Top Model Cycle 14

It's baaaaaaack! This time with more spandex and leotards than ever!

But I still love the show, bad makeovers and all.

Whip It

Meh. It's your typical Nerdy-Girl-Turns-Popular-Girl movie, but on roller skates.

Valentine's Day

Oh man this movie sucked. It was just cheesy people. I expected greatness from putting so many great actors together in the same film!

But it wasn't greatness.

I blame the screen writer. I mean COME ON!

Anyway, the best thing about the movie? Taylor Swift. She was pretty funny.

(No, I'm not even going to mention the other Taylor until he turns 18 thankyouvery much.)

500 Days of Summer

It was really cute, I was expecting a chick flick but was pleasantly surprised.

Fame (2009)

I've never seen the original version of Fame so I can't make a comparison, but I can comment on my likes and dislikes of the new version.

Likes: Dancing, dancing, dancing, dancing.

Dislikes: Don't get me wrong, I love Kherington (Season 4 So You Think You Can Dance) but I don't think her talent was portrayed very will in this movie. The plot line was predictable, just like all other dance movies but hey, who is watches it for the plot?

Just watch it for the talent and you will enjoy it!

Julie & Julia

I'm not sure what category this movie falls into. I guess the closest would be chick flick, but it wasn't your normal fall-in-love-break-up-get-back-together chick flick. This one was all about FOOD!

Beware, after you watch this you will get the urge to eat, and cook, and EAT.

My Sister's Keeper

The story is about a family who's daughter is diagnosed with cancer at an early age so the family decides to make a test tube baby who will be a perfect match for their sick child in order to use parts of her anatomy to save the sick child's life.

Yeah, I know.

How would it feel to just exist solely to be used for your "parts"? To know that you weren't really wanted in the first place. I like how the younger sister narrates the film and poses the question, "What if my sister never was sick? Would I even exist?"

It's definitely a film that makes you think. And, as you can imagine, it is a tear jerker!

Four Christmases

Honestly I thought this movie was another chick flick with sappy life lessons learned and all that crap that. Well, it still had life lessons but learning those lessons was done in a hilarious way. It was surprisingly funny, even the hubster enjoyed it.

Maybe it's because I was expecting the worst and I was pleasantly surprised, or it could be because of the people I was watching it with, but I thought it was pretty entertaining.

Gossip Girl Season 2 on DVD

Oh no she di'nt! It's so nice to have the Gossip Girl drama back in my life. This season EVERYONE is cheating on EVERYONE.

It's the best.

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past

I thought it was pretty stupid but I generally don't like chick flicks so I may be a little biased. The plot is similar to A Christmas Carol where Scrooge is visited by three ghosts but instead of Scrooge, it's Matthew McConaughhey and instead of ghosts its ex girlfriends.

So you already know the story line, plus it's chick flick so you already know how it is going to end. There, now you don't have to watch it.

007 dies and Izzy doesn't? I thought for sure Izzy was going to be killed off the show. I used to like her a lot but she's kinda buggin me without George there. I miss George and his quirkiness. We'll see how the rest of the season pans out.

Rescue Me - Season Two

I am in love with this show. I'm hooked, I've got all the seasons waiting in my Blockbuster queue.
